OpenShack Remote / Full station
The whole shack. Right in front of you.
No remote desktop: your logger, digital modes, paddle, microphone and footswitch stay with you and connect locally. The host at the station takes care of the hardware.

Your timing
arrives intact.
On the Internet, packets arrive a little early or a little late. The adaptive jitter buffer at the station absorbs this and plays back your original timing: jitter changes the latency, not the length of your dits, dahs and spaces.
The Box beside you makes the sidetone — instantly, not after the round trip to the station and back.
Safety nets built in.
Several independent safeguards in case something goes wrong.
Adjustable PTT timeout in the host (120 s by default), plus a separate hardware watchdog in the Box.
The Box releases a stuck paddle or unusually long keying and drops PTT.
Disconnecting or ending a session releases key and PTT.
If you choose, the host shuts down after a set time and parks the rotator.
Between sessions the station can be powered down: a smart plug wakes the host, URL switches the rest.
WebRTC with TLS, SRTP and DTLS — on the relay path too. Usually no port forwarding.
Travel light. Bring the whole station.
